The author of articles is Robert Donnelly. I have been teaching Chemistry to High School students for over 25 years. The web site was set up to

  • help students learn how to write chemical formula.
  • provide students with information about the basics of Chemistry.
  • provide teachers with creative resources and ideas for teaching Chemistry the classroom.

The site also has a variety of chemistry games, interactive learning tools such as chemistry formula drills, quizzes, chemistry worksheets and teaching resources to help students learn, revise and enjoy chemistry.

A variety of chemistry calculators have been designed to help students learn how to name and write a range of chemical formulas, as well as calculate the molar mass of a substance.

A chemical bingo maker produces fun worksheets to help students learn the common symbols of the Periodic Table and the chemical formula of a range of monatomic and polyatomic ions. Students greatly enjoy the bingo and the confectionary which is given as prizes. You can customise your own bingo game according to your curriculum requirements.

A chemistry word search puzzle generator includes a database wordlist of common chemistry words, elements and compounds. The word puzzle generator can be customised and printed out into various shapes including that of a beaker and a Periodic table.

All chemistry worksheets can be directly downloaded from the chemistry worksheet directory.

Mnay students have often requested details about the articles for referencing.

The following is written as a guide to help students reference information for their Chemistry assignments.
